I just picked it up digitally when I got it, so I never looked at retail copy prices.

I've had games where I've gotten screwed by that too.Voidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14547474651935176402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2362493828562728346.post-10438801879127383182015-08-12T08:09:14.953-05:002015-08-12T08:09:14.953-05:00This game is a sore spot for me. I bought it wanting another Final Fantasy Tactics, unfairly hated it, and then traded it in.

Almost immediately, the game's worth was far more than its initial cost. It became one of those rare collectible sorts.

Effectively, I got screwed twice.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00289459451344261371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2362493828562728346.post-14406401776253211012015-08-11T07:37:31.363-05:002015-08-11T07:37:31.363-05:00That's cool to know! I didn't stick with it far enough to see the decision point, but I can see how that would be awesome.Voidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14547474651935176402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2362493828562728346.post-42665731889361451042015-08-11T07:26:35.090-05:002015-08-11T07:26:35.090-05:00Thems fighting words!
Just kidding... FFT is supe...Thems fighting words!

Just kidding... FFT is superior is just about every way. However, I did very much enjoy the complete, radical shift that is a result of an early game decision in Tactics Ogre. You either follow orders and become a part of the big evil empire fighting against the rebellion, or you don't, and end up fighting against said empire. In its day, that sort of thing was fairly unprecedented.

If you can only play one, then yeah, pick FFT. But if you enjoy tactical games generally, Tactics Ogre isn't bad at all.Azurielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16581263347888757710noreply@blogger.com
